SOCAP GREAT LAKES ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

SOCAP GREAT LAKES CHAPTER’S 19TH ANNUAL GOLF OUTING FEATURING FORD MOTOR COMPANY PRESENTATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA JUNE 9TH

Early morning discussion regarding effective online customer service entitled “How to Measure the Effectiveness of Social Media”

NOVI, Mich. – June 7, 2011

As part of SOCAP Great Lakes Chapter’s 19th Annual Golf Outing, 3CSI Digital CRM Solutions is happy to partner with Ford Motor Company in a presentation detailing the companies’ joint-efforts in successful online customer service solutions. The presentation, entitled “How to Measure the Effectiveness of Social Media,” will feature Ford’s Social Media Operations Manager Elizabeth Foley speaking to her hands-on experience helping lead the auto manufacturer’s efforts in engaging customers across a wide variety of online platforms. Beginning at 8 am and running until 10:15 am, the presentation will discuss how Ford and 3CSI have expanded the Fortune 500’s customer service efforts beyond traditional mediums and into the digital marketplace.

Beginning in November of 2010, Ford began to work with Southeast Michigan-based 3CSI to effectively expand the company’s efforts in helping solve car and truck owner’s problems. While Ford already had begun work on Twitter and Facebook, the company began engaging with customers on a wide spectrum of forums and websites utilizing 3CSI’s unique customer engagement tools. The process of hiring agents, training them to be successful voices for Ford’s customer service division and discovering effective ways to meet new and challenging customer needs is the fundamental basis for Foley’s “How to Measure” presentation.

Joining Foley in her presentation will be 3CSI CEO Jason Wolcott, who will take questions and help discuss the exciting opportunities available for companies in online customer service engagement.  With extensive experience working in the automobile industry and in business operations, Wolcott is considered an expert in the realm of standardized customer support operations.

Marking the “Early Birdie” start of the Great Lakes Chapter’s golf outing, Ford and 3CSI’s presentation is open to members and non-members of SOCAP for only $20 USD. Included with the presentation is a continental breakfast. For those wishing to golf after the presentation, please contact Chip Rohde at (313) 566-0573. Attendance of the “Early Birdie” presentation, 18 holes of golf, with cart, lunch and dinner, is $98/person or $392/foursome.
